Travel Tryouts Date and Time Announcement

All ice times will take place at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter @ 7060 W Sylvania Ave., Sylvania, OH 43560.

Bantam (Rink 1) 4:30-5:50PM

Pee Wee (Rink 2) 3:00-4:20

Bantam (Rink 2) 7:00-8:20PM

Travel Tryouts for BGYHA 2020/2021 teams will take place as noted below.  For those interested, please familiarize yourself with the info below. 

• TAMO COVID Guidelines and commitment forms available below for your review
• $40 tryout fee per skater * invoices will be emailed to the contact info provided and are required to be paid prior to the tryout to allow for social distancing
• Players must be current with all fees  (house fees, all star fees, coffee opt out, etc.)
• New for this season-Red Helmets, black plants, red or black gloves are required for all players selected to BGYHA travel teams 
• Both sessions recommended but not required
  • Due to USA Hockey Social Distancing guidelines, players may be placed into groups and/or moved on and off the ice during the tryout. 
• Registration is open 1 hour prior to the tryout time
• To be eligible, a player must have played at least 1 year of 8U/Mite or above in BGYHA and/or be residing in BG school district or attending BG City Schools. 
• Residency Requirement: Beginning with the 2018-2019 season BGYHA travel teams will be required to roster a minimum of 10 players residing in Bowling Green School District or attending Bowling Green City Schools. The 10 player minimum will include a goalie.  
• Bantam Pre/Post topic- Please review the Bantam commitment agreement for specific details as the guidelines around this have changed.
